There are a range of ways you can access mental health support.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency call Mental Health Triage, for after hours support there is the Lived Experience Telephone Support Service or you can search through our online Directory to find something in your area.
If English is not your first language, call ASKPEACE on (08) 8245 8110.
You can also contact your General Practitioner to talk about a Mental Health Plan and other supports.
For non-urgent mental health queries or should you wish to speak to Primary Mental Health Care Services in the Adelaide metropolitan region, please call 1300 89 8213.

Mental health emergency: 13 14 65
For assistance in a mental health emergency, contact the mental health triage service – telephone 13 14 65 available 24 hours, seven days a week.
This service is the main point of access into mental health services when experiencing a mental health emergency or crisis situation. It is staffed by mental health clinicians who will assess and refer you to acute response teams where appropriate.

LETSS: 1800 013 755
LETSS is the Lived Experience Telephone Support Service.This telephone service runs from 5pm-11:30pm every night of the week, every day of the year including public holidays and weekends.
This evening service is open at night when people find it difficult to find support.
This is a peer support service meaning trained mental health workers with lived experience are on the other end using their knowledge and expertise to assist you in making your own decisions about what is best for you. LETSS can help you with;
• information on mental health conditions and where you can go for certain services or support
• support navigating the mental health system including how to get referrals
• real time support for when you may feel you are becoming unwell however it is important to note this is not crisis support (if you require that then please call Mental Health Triage on 13 14 65)
• provide follow-up and wellbeing checks if you need them or have recently been discharged from hospital You can access LETSS by calling 1800 013 755.
Calls to the LETSS are free of charge (though mobile charges may apply) and callers can remain anonymous if they wish.
