Mental Health Week
Mental Health Week is an annual, national event that aims to improve community awareness and interest in mental health and wellbeing.
In 2020, SA's MHW will run from 10–17 October.
The Mental Health Coalition of SA is the state leader in mental health promotion. We work to raise awareness of and reduce stigma by:
- strengthening the capacity of South Australians to support their mental health and the mental health of their friends, families and communities
- supporting people with lived experience to communicate with South Australians
- encouraging South Australians to value and learn from Lived Experience.
Every year, we coordinate South Australia’s Mental Health Awareness Week, including a Workplace Challenge with Business SA and the state’s biggest mental health and wellbeing Festival, the Festival of Now.
