Recently the Productivity Commission called on submissions to its inquiry in to Mental Health;  A Human Rights Perspective. We partnered with the Lived Experience Leadership & Advocacy Network (LELAN) in compiling it and it was  built on work we had been undertaking over the past year with the LELAN, Carers SA and Health Consumers Alliance of South Australia (HCASA).

In it we emphasised that people with lived experience are at the heart of our work and it is their experiences whether in the community or in the mental health sector that inform what we do. We acknowledged there are flaws in our system and that the human rights of those accessing the mental health system must be better addressed.

Our full submission can be found here.
