Mental Health Week
Mental Health Week is an annual, national event that aims to improve community awareness and interest in mental health and wellbeing.
World Mental Health Day is marked every year on 10 October.
The Mental Health Coalition of SA is the state leader in mental health promotion. We create high-impact events and campaigns that:
- raise awareness of and reduce stigma around mental illness
- strengthen the capacity of South Australians to support their mental health and the mental health of their friends, families and communities, and
- encourage South Australians to value and learn from Lived Experience.
Every year, we coordinate South Australia’s Mental Health Awareness Week, including a Workplace Challenge with Business SA and the state’s biggest mental health and wellbeing Festival, the Festival of Now. We are a trusted voice for the community mental health sector, and those living with mental illness in our state.
