Admental is in its second year and is led by the Don Dunstan Foundation in partnership with the Mental Health Coalition of SA. For this event we ask two advertising agencies to create an advertisement for mental health.
This year Super8 and Floodlight competed for the Geoff Robertson Memorial award. In a Gruen Transfer style competition both companies created advertisements focussing on employers and workplaces.
We are willing to talk about our physical health and it is generally accepted that we can be physically unwell, but when we are mentally unwell the conversations can be awkward.
As we know Mental Health & Wellbeing is everybody’s business. Our aim is that these advertisements will further increase awareness and start conversations about mental health and wellbeing.
